Our surgeon Mr Miles Berry asked to comment on Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry upcoming nose job in The Star magazine. Below is a transcript from the article published in the magazine. For more information about about the procedure please visit the rhinoplasty page.
Chloe Ferry has openly admitted that she’s addicted to surgery – and we barely recognised her when she showed off the shocking results of her nose job last week Clearly pleased with her dramatic new look, 20-year-old Chloe posted a picture of her face on Twitter, writing, “So this is my side profile with my new nose. Still a bit of bruising but nearly gone, only been a week since my nose job.” She also posted a series of close-up selfies of her new nose on Snapchat, looking totally different from the girl who first appeared on Geordie Shore just last year. As well as her recent nose job, Chloe has admitted to having lip and cheek fillers, eyebrow lift injections, veneers and Botox – and her changing face is now giving medical experts cause for concern.
Mr Miles Berry a cosmetic surgeon at beyondbeautycosmetic.co.uk, says Chloe’s excessive procedures pose possible health problems. He tells Star, “It’s a shame as Chloe is quite pretty pre-op. The fillers are in excess as the natural features of the lip and cheeks have been distorted. This will change her in the long run. “Fillers are ideal for those in their 4os and beyond to help compensate for natural subcutaneous ‘padding’ loss. It’s quite unnecessary in someone of her youth. There is quite an asymmetry of Chloe’s cheeks.” Mr Berry continues, “With regards to the nose job, in my opinion the nostrils are too small and not particularly natural in appearance. One would have to wonder about her airflow. Once the nostrils are too narrow, they are very difficult to enlarge again, because tissue has usually been removed.
“I personally aim towards surgery that is natural in appearance and enhances beauty, rather than detracts from it.” Fans are also worried about Chloe’s obsession with changing her face. One shocked user wrote online, “She looks like an absolute clown. She is just going to get worse with the surgery. Don’t mess with something you can’t fix!” Another commented, The likeness to Michael Jackson is unreal. It is sad though that she’s done that to herself when she was very pretty before she started with any of the surgery I think she will regret it.” While a third concerned fan said, “Oh dear. 20 years old and she has done this to her pretty face. What will she look like when she gets to 40 and her face has collapsed under the weight of the multiple procedures?” Earlier this month, Chloe
opened up to Star about being hooked on surgery, revealing, “I’ve always felt ugly and uncomfortable. I’m addicted to surgery I want the muscles taken out of my cheeks and my jaw done – I want it chiselled.” And last year, she said, “I love big lips. I’ve wanted lip fillers since I was 17 and I’ll never stop having them done. And I need filler in my chin to make it more pointed.” But she also says she doesn’t think she’ll regret anything she’s had done, telling us, “I’ve liked the stuff I’ve had done so far, so I think I’ll be all right.” Maybe it’s time to leave your face alone now, Chloe.
